Uncle Howdy’s list of victims is about to get much longer (2024)

Raw airs tonight (June 24) with a live show from Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is the second episode of Raw during the three week build towards Money in the Bank, which takes place on July 6 in Toronto.

Uncle Howdy’s list of victims is about to get much longer

Uncle Howdy returned to WWE last week as part of the shocking Wyatt Sick6 attack at the end of the show. Chad Gable and a bunch of extras were laid out backstage in a bloody massacre during the new group’s debut segment.

It was certainly a captivating angle, but how exactly will WWE follow up on it? Will Uncle Howdy and his gang of misfits once again wait until the very end of Raw to strike? Will they attack someone in the ring this time, like Jey Uso, who has stolen Bray Wyatt’s fireflies? Is Pat McAfee a sitting duck at ringside while doing Raw commentary in Indiana?

Does the new faction embrace violence for the sake of violence, or will Howdy explain the method to their madness? The bottom line is that Uncle Howdy’s list of victims is sure to expand tonight, and just about everyone on the show besides Paul Levesque appears to be in some kind of danger.

There’s a lot more to learn about the new Wyatt Sicks faction, and that process begins on tonight’s episode of Raw. Can WWE keep the group’s momentum going strong, or will we start to see that the Uncle Howdy gimmick doesn’t work very well without Bray Wyatt?

The rest of the card

Chad Gable narrowly escaped murder at the hands of Uncle Howdy last week, but he’s apparently good to go for tonight’s Money in the Bank qualifying match against Bronson Reed and Braun Strowman. Braun has all the momentum right now, but will The Creeds show up to join Alpha Academy and help Master Gable prevail against these very large men?

Lyra Valkyria vs. Kairi Sane vs. Shayna Baszler is booked for tonight in a women’s Money in the Bank qualifying match. If Kairi fails to win, will IYO SKY finally make those changes to Damage CTRL that she’s been referring to in recent weeks?

Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn are the new WWE women’s tag team champions, and they’ll look to prove they are no fluke when they step in the ring tonight against former champs Katana Chance & Kayden Carter.

Kofi Kingston may have stepped on Xavier Woods’ toes when he cut him off during an interview in order to accept Karrion Kross’ challenge for a match with either New Day member tonight. Karrion is determined to break up the New Day, and perhaps he’ll make significant progress on that front tonight if Xavier hesitates to help Kofi when he needs him the most.

Bron Breakker’s match with Sheamus last week was ruined by interference from Ludwig Kaiser, who attacked the Celtic Warrior. Bron didn’t care who Ludwig was targeting, he speared the sh*t out of the guy anyway for getting involved in his business. Now it will be Breakker vs. Kaiser tonight. Good luck surviving this match in one piece, Ludwig.

Other stuff to keep an eye on

- Drew McIntyre quit WWE on last week’s Raw, only to return a few days later on SmackDown to destroy CM Punk in his hometown of Chicago and send the man to the hospital. I bet Drew will have a lot to say about Punk tonight. Is he ready to formally challenge CM to a fight at SummerSlam?

- Seth Rollins made his surprise return to WWE last week, and Damian Priest immediately granted him a match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Money in the Bank. Will Seth get back in the ring before then to shake off some ring rust, or is he prepared to jump right into the deep end?

- Sheamus technically beat Bron Breakker by disqualification last week. Does that mean Sami Zayn owes the Celtic Warrior a shot at the Intercontinental championship?

- Liv Morgan has turned up the heat on Dominik Mysterio, and I’m not sure how much more he can take. Can Finn Balor and the rest of The Judgment Day come up with a plan to save Dom from Liv, or is it a lost cause at this point?

- Where the f*** is Odyssey Jones?

What will you be looking for on Raw?
